  • The hands on portion will be held at the City of Nampa pit area on Lake Lowell, west of Middleton Road and close to Midway Road. A map and more information will be sent prior to the class.

Description

Objectives:
- Identify the wheel loader operating controls and describe their function.
- Complete the walk around inspection checklist.
- Demonstrate, according to company procedures and standards, your ability to operate a wheel loader in a safe and productive manner while traveling, loading, and unloading.
- Demonstrate loading the bucket, load and carry, and unloading safely.  Perform proper shut down procedures.  Loading the sand truck correctly.

    This is a 2 day class
    Agencies are responsible for providing their own equipment (vendors will usually loan equipment if needed).
    There is a limit of two people per one piece of equipment
